1. Architecture & Capabilities

Oracle Taleo supports REST and SOAP web services for requisition retrieval and candidate data exchange.

When pushing parsed resume data into Taleo, ensure your pipeline respects its core parser schema: single-column layout parsing, strict date parsing (strict MM/YYYY enforced), and file constraints (5MB maximum).

2. Authentication

All requests to Taleo's API require secure authentication. Configure your HTTP client with the appropriate authorization header:

4. Webhook Event Notifications

Taleo does not natively provide outbound webhook events. Integrators must poll REST endpoints periodically (recommended interval: every 15 minutes) to synchronize candidate state.
